ELECTRIC MACHINE OF MAGNETOELECTRIC TYPE

Disclosed is a slotless electric machine of magnetoelectric-type which rotor is excited by constant magnets. For the purpose of speeding and reducing weight, a magnet frame and a magnetic core of a rotor excitation system are optimized. A design with variable cross-section along circumference according to various level of saturation of elements thereof is proposed. The law of cross-sections increase from minimal to maximal value is proportional to the increase of magnetic flow according to angular arc of pole. It provides for reducing weight and rotor inertia moment.
