A process for the preparation of sponge titanium hydride, alloyed with oxygen, comprises the arrangement of sponge titanium in reaction chamber of electric installation, vacuum treatment of operating area of chamber, supply of argon to the reaction chamber to the formation of excess pressure in it, overflow of sponge titanium by means of hydrogen supply to the reaction chamber of electric installation at temperature rise and further cooling of the prepared titanium hydride. As raw material sponge titanium is used, alloyed with oxygen. |
