PETG COMPOSITIONS PREPARED FROM RADICAL INITIATED CROSS LINKING MODIFICATION AND THE MANUFACTURING METHOD OF FILM AND SHEET USING THIS PETG COMPOSITIONS

PURPOSE: A cross linked PETG resin composition which is reformed by radical initiation reaction and a manufacturing method of a sheet and a film using thereof are provided to improve melt strength and to facilitate thermal processing through cross linking between molecular chains. CONSTITUTION: A cross linked PETG resin composition which is reformed by radical initiation reaction comprises a PETG resin, a plasticizer, a thermal initiator, and a crosslinkable monomer. A manufacturing method of a sheet and a film using the PETG resin composition comprises the following steps: repetitively processing kneading, remixing and kneading of raw materials and roll mixing milling after mixing the PETG resin, the plasticizer, the thermal initiator, and the crosslinkable monomer; and manufacturing to the mixture into a film sheet by using a processing method of extrusion or calendering.
