PURPOSE: A broadcasting reception terminal and a controlling method thereof are provided to accurately recognize broadcasting start time by displaying standby time to a broadcasting receiving terminal. CONSTITUTION: An input unit(460) includes a function selection key. A timer(420) measures time. A communication unit(430) receives broadcasting start information of a broadcasting control system. The communication unit receives broadcasting information of the broadcasting terminal. A controlling unit(410) displays remaining time on a display unit(450).
