PURPOSE: A system and a method for controlling a stacker crane for preventing damage of cargo are provided to prevent damage of cargo being potential of sticking or frozen and to prevent errors of a stacker crane and damages of a profile of a rod arm due to adsorption of specific cargo. CONSTITUTION: A system for controlling a stacker crane for preventing damage of cargo comprises a key input unit(10), a memory unit(20), and a control unit(30). The key input unit inputs various kinds of commands in order to flow cargo keeping in a rack structure at a constant cycle. The memory unit stores various kinds of information including a stored position and a warehousing time about each cargo with data about time cycle inputted through the key input unit. If the keeping time of an arbitrary cargo is exceeded the time cycle stored in the memory unit in a state where multiple cargoes are kept in the rack structure, the control unit lifts the relevant cargo and goes back to original position after moving a stacker crane toward the relevant cargo. |
