PURPOSE: An active PIN diode limiter for a millimeter wave detector is provided to efficiently reduce power leakage and restrict the input of external power not synchronized. CONSTITUTION: An active PIN diode limiter for a millimeter wave detector comprises two-stage limiting module(110) and a feedback module(120). The two-stage limiting module comprises a first PIN diode and a second PIN diode. The feedback module unites and amplifies a signal detected at the output port of the two-stage limiting module and a gate signal synchronized to the differential amplified voltage of reference voltage and the pulse repetition frequency of a transmission signal and provides the amplified signal to the first and second PIN diodes.
