PURPOSE: A deformed bar having joints of different heights is provided to form joints on a surface of a bar, thereby obtaining a uniform distribution of stress and crack reduction effect. CONSTITUTION: A deformed bar(10) having ribs of different heights comprises a rod(12), a plurality of low joints(16), and a plurality of high joints(14). The plurality of low joints is spaced at a constant distance along a longitudinal direction and projected out of a surface of the rod in a traverse direction. The plurality of high joints is arranged in the each center of low joints which are adjacent to each other. The plurality of high joints is projected out of the surface of the rod in the traverse direction to have larger heights.
