PURPOSE: A sizing agent is provided to prevent formation of foam in carbon fibers and to enable uniform impregnation on the surface of fiber yarn. CONSTITUTION: A sizing unit comprises: an impregnating device for storing a sizing agent at predetermined level; a feeding roller, pushing roller, tension roller(11), and sizing roller(12) for passing carbon fibers through the sizing agent and guiding; and a spray nozzle for spraying the sizing agent into an inlet of carbon fiber of the tension roller. The tension roller has open outer circumference.
