PURPOSE: A spiral stator core and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to reduce manufacturing costs by easily reeling and laminating a strip shaped material as a spiral shape. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of indentation grooves(40) is formed at least one side of a strip shaped material. The plurality of indentation grooves is formed in a longitudinal direction of the strip shaped material lengthways in comparison with width. The longitudinal direction deformation rate of vertical direction one side and the other side the strip shaped material is different. The strip shaped material is laminated as a spiral shape. The strip shaped material comprises a strip shaped base unit and a plurality of teeth.
