A method for single crystals growing of solid solutions of copper chloride-iodide pentathiophosphate CuPS(ClI) by chemical transport reactions includes stage heating of vacuumized quartz ampoules containing the initial components in the desired stoichiometric ratio, to the maximum temperature and holding at this temperature for 24 hours and further growing of single crystals. Elemental copper, phosphorus and sulfur, and binary copper chloride CuCl, copper iodide CuI are used as the initial components for synthesis. At that the maximum synthesis temperature is of 973 ± 5 K, and the cultivation is carried out using as a transporting agent stoichiometric mixture of CuCl/CuI at the rate of 20 mg/cmfree volume of the ampoule. |
