PURPOSE: A method for aligning an alignment layer, an apparatus thereof, and a manufacturing method of a liquid crystal display device are provided to align an aligning layer without using a mask and to widen viewing angles of the liquid crystal display device. CONSTITUTION: A stage(400) accepts a substrate in which an alignment layer is included. The alignment layer includes a plurality of alignment areas. A data processing unit(300) loads data about a location of the alignment areas. The data processing unit generates a control signal corresponding to the data. An optical unit(200) receives light and the control signal.
