The invention provides a paper processing device capable of easily loading and unloading a paper housing body in a narrow working space when performing the paper jam. The paper processing device (10) comprises: a paper conveying portion (20) for conveying the input or output paper; a plurality of bank paper boxes (32) adjacent and opposite to the lower part of the paper conveying portion (20) and housing the paper conveyed between the bank paper boxes and the paper conveying portion (20); a paper housing body housing portion (30) for housing the bank paper boxes (32); a retreatment mechanism (60)) for making the paper housing body housing portion (30) retreat downwards by preset amount relative to the paper conveying portion (20) and a floating mechanism (70) capable of allowing the paper housing body housing portion (30) after retreating to move upwards and meanwhile supporting it in a manner of sliding along the horizontal direction. |
