PURPOSE: A fuel gage device capable to indicate the fuel amount under a minimum indicating point is provided for accurate indication of residual fuel by calculating the residual fuel linearly under the minimum indication value of a dash board. CONSTITUTION: A fuel gage device(20) capable to indicate the fuel amount under a minimum indicating point comprises a residual quantity detection sensor(4), an engine ECU(22), a data storage unit(24), a step motor for an indicator(6), a motor driving unit(8), and a control unit(26). Fuel consumption amount is applied to the engine ECU. The data storage unit saves the minimum indication value information of each vehicle and the conversion information of the minimum residual fuel indication value information of each vehicle and fuel amount indication value. An indication step motor indicates the detected residual fuel amount. The control unit calculates the residual fuel amount linearly and controls the indication by using the calculated result in case of the residual fuel amount is under the indication minimum value.
