METHOD FOR RESTORING USED-UP DISKS OF BEET-HARVESTING MACHINES

A method for restoring used-up disks of beet-harvesting machines such that prior to welding of half-finished products along the outer contour of a turned disk and the internal contour of fabricated segment tyres grooves, for example of an L-like shape, are turned. Preliminary sharpening of the cutting edge on working surface thereof is carried out prior the surface strengthening of the product by a vibration method with the aim of providing the reliability of passage of the disks at the preset depth and reducing costs for maintenance thereof, and, to raise the durability and reliability thereof in the use of the restored disk, the process of restoring the working profile of the product is controlled according to a template.
