A method for diagnosing the hepatic encephalopathy comprises the assay for the ammonia in blood serum and the test of digit association. In addition, hepatoanalyzer is used for assessing the critical frequency of the flickering. When the critical frequency of the flickering is within 39-36 Hz, the hepatic encephalopathy is minimal. The critical frequency of the flickering is within 35.9-32 Hz corresponds to the hepatic encephalopathy grade I, 31.9-28 Hz – grade II, lower than 27.9 Hz – grade III. |
