PURPOSE: A planar inductor is provided to minimize the reduction of inductance by forming a structure with one gap between an inner core and an outer core. CONSTITUTION: An outer core(10) has cylindrical shape to have a cylindrical receiving space. An inner core(20) comprises a plate(22) with the same diameter as the outer core and a cylinder(24). The outer core is combined with the inner core. A multilayered printed circuit board(30) is received in the receiving space of the outer core. A lead wire is electrically connected to the end of a coil pattern via lead holes(36,38) and through holes(26,28).
