PURPOSE: An automatic tape carrier package editing device and an operation method thereof are provided to completely automate the editing process of a defective part by efficiently inspecting manufactured tape carrier packages. CONSTITUTION: An automatic tape carrier package editing device comprises input and output feeding parts(40,50), a cutting part(60), a bonding part(80), a punching part(120), and a controller(100). The input and output feeding parts are located on both ends of a base part to selectively transfer a tape carrier package. The cutting part selectively cuts the tape carrier package extracted from the input feeding part. The bonding part is arranged in the side of the cutting part and welds the tape carrier package from which a defective part is cut. The punching part is arranged in the side of bonding part and punches the welded part. The controller controls the tape carrier package, feeding part, cutting part, bonding part, and punching part according to the inspection data of the tape carrier package. |
