摘要 PURPOSE: A vehicle control system is provided to prevent degradation of vehicle stability by tracing a front car in case keeping lane becomes difficult. CONSTITUTION: A vehicle control system comprises a lane recognizing unit(110), a vehicle recognizing unit(120), a controlling unit(130), and a cornering force controller(140). The lane recognizing unit produces lane information by recognizing lanes next to the vehicle. The vehicle recognizing unit recognizes a vehicle in front of the vehicle. The controller creates propel trace information of the front vehicle. If reliability of lane information which locates next to the vehicle is smaller than standard value, the controller stops controlling for keeping lane. The controller outputs controlling signals which trace the front vehicle according to the propel trace information. The cornering force controller provides cornering force in accordance with the control signal.
