PURPOSE: A device for horizontally propelling a large-diameter steel pipe is provided to prevent damage to the front end of a large-caliber steel pipe when the large-caliber steel pipe collides with an obstacle. CONSTITUTION: A device for horizontally propelling a large-diameter steel pipe comprises a guide hole(101), a reinforcing ring(102), fixed brackets(110), cylinder bodies(121), cylinder rods(122), and connection brackets(130). The guide hole is formed in the longitudinal direction of a large-diameter steel pipe(10). The reinforcing ring is inserted into the front end of the large-diameter steel pipe. The fixed brackets are assembled in the inner side of the front end of the large-diameter steel pipe. The cylinder bodies are fixed to the fixed brackets and connected to supply lines. The cylinder rods are formed inside the cylinder bodies and extended and contracted in the propulsion direction of the large-diameter steel pipe. The connection brackets are coupled to the ends of the cylinder rods and coupled to the reinforcing ring.
