PURPOSE: A shaft rod of a dumbbell is provided to solidly fix a fixed main body in an iron rod and to facilitate the fixing and release of a weight. CONSTITUTION: A shaft rod of a dumbbell comprises a shaft rod and a fixed main body(3). In the iron rod(1) combined with the fixed main body, a concavo-convex region(2) is formed. An elastic member(6) is equipped between a key and a switch(5). A weight is adamantly combined with the iron rod. When the switch of the fixed main body is pressed, the elastic member is pressed and a key is lifted based on the elastic member.
