The present invention relates to a caption and voice output method of a language learning application operated by being installed in an electronic device terminal such as a mobile phone or an MP3 player. The invention: extracts caption voice information from contents to be outputted, and stores the extracted information; divides a screen of a display unit into a plurality of first, second, ..., and kth caption display regions; displays a caption section to be outputted as a voice at the present time (tn) in the first caption display region; and sequentially displays caption sections that will be outputted as voices at the next point in time (tn+1,tn+2,...) in the second caption display region, the third caption display region, ..., and the kth caption display region by matching the caption sections one to one. In addition, according to the invention, a voice synchronized with the caption section of the first caption display region is outputted, the caption section of the second caption display region is moved to the first caption display region, the caption section of the third caption display region is moved to the second caption display region, ...., and a caption section of a (k+1)th caption display region is moved to the kth caption display region. Further, the invention is capable of consecutively reproducing the caption sections displayed in the plurality of caption display regions by scrolling the caption sections in order, and repeatedly reproducing a particular caption section under the control of the user. |
