PURPOSE: A system for preventing crime is provided to more effectively perform a crime preventing function at home. CONSTITUTION: A system for preventing crime comprises a robot cleaner(200), a wireless interconnection unit(300), and a wireless terminal(400). The robot cleaner comprises a camera module(210), an operation recognizing module(220), a communication module(230), and a controller(240). The camera module takes a photograph of an external image. The operation recognition module senses the movement of an external object. The communication module changes a filmed image into a video signal and transfers the transformed video signal to the wireless interconnection unit. The wireless interconnection unit transmits the video signal to a center server or the wireless terminal. The wireless terminal receives the video signal.
