APPARATUS FOR CONTROLLING LED-STREETLIGHT OF DIMMING BY POWER LINE COMMUNICATION

PURPOSE: A dimming control device of an LED street light which uses power line communications is provided to save energy by controlling brightness according to surrounding environment and time establishment. CONSTITUTION: A modem(6) for power line communications communicates with a server through a power line. The modem for the power line communications outputs a voltage level for the dimming control of an LED module. A distribution box transfers a control signal provided from the server to the modem for the power line communications communicates. An SMPS(Switching Mode Power Supply)(7) changes an AC voltage into a DC voltage. A dimmer(8) receives a power source from the SMPS. The dimmer executes the dimming control to the LED module with a pulse wide modulation method.
