TRANSFORMANTS EXPRESSING EPITOPE OF PORCINE EPIDEMIC DIARRHEA VIRUS AND ROTAVIRUS AND VACCINE COMPOSITION CONTAINING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A transformant for expressing PEDV epitope gene and rotavirus gene is provided to induce antibody generation with neutralization to PEDV and rotavirus and to lower animal virus contamination. CONSTITUTION: A recombinant vector contains a gene PEDV epitope protein operatively linked with a rotavirus gene. The rotavirus includes VP8 gene or BVP5 gene. A gene encoding the epitope protein has a base sequence of sequence number 2 or 3. A vaccine composition of PEDV or rotavirus contains a transformant, protein extract of the transformant, or recombinant protein isolated from the transformant. A method for preparing the PEDV or rotavirus vaccine comprises: a step of preparing the recombinant vector; a step of introducing the vector to Agrobacterium; and a ste p of transforming the Agrobacterium into plant cells.
