Cosmetic use of Fabiana imbricataessential oil (I) as soothing agent, is claimed. An independent claim is included for a non-therapeutic cosmetic process to soothe the skin and/or scalp, comprising at least one step of applying, to the skin and/or scalp, the composition comprising (I). ACTIVITY : Dermatological; Antiinflammatory; Antipruritic; Antipsoriatic; Antiallergic; Antiseborrheic. MECHANISM OF ACTION : None given.
