PURPOSE: A washing machine capable of accurately detecting the malfunction is provided to perform detection processes for the vibration and the water level of the washing machine at the same time. CONSTITUTION: A washing machine capable of accurately detecting the malfunction comprises water level/vibration sensing device(30) connected to an air hose(28), for detecting the washing water level and the vibration of a water tank. The water level/vibration sensing device includes a housing(31), a bobbin(37), a diaphragm(40), a core(36), and an elastic member(50). The diaphragm includes a supporting shaft(42) moving inside the bobbin by the pressure change inside a pressure chamber(35). The bobbin supports the coil sliding along to the supporting shaft. The elastic member elastically supports the core on the supporting shaft.
