APPARATUS FOR CONNECTING GUARD FENCE ON THE BRIDGE

PURPOSE: A connection device for a guard fence on a bridge is provided to minimize damage to a bridge deck when a vehicle collides with the bridge deck and to disperse collision energy through a steel wire unit. CONSTITUTION: A connection device for a guard fence on a bridge comprises connection units(10), steel wire units(50), fixing units(60), and post units(20). The connection units are coupled to both surfaces of a bridge deck(80). The steel wire units are coupled to the outer surfaces of the connection units through the inside the bridge deck and the connection units. The fixing units are coupled to both ends of the steel wire units and fix the steel wire units to the outer surfaces of the connection units. The post units are vertically inserted into the connection units. A guard fence is coupled t the top ends of the post units.
