摘要 PURPOSE: An IPS mode liquid crystal display device and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to contain polymer which is formed by polymerizing and matching a photo monomer of a liquid crystal layer. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal display includes an array substrate and a facing substrate(2) which is matched by facing each other. The display includes a liquid crystal layer(5) including a liquid crystal having a dielectric anisotropy which is pinched between the array substrate and the facing substrate. An electrode(3) sanctions parallel electric field to the liquid crystal layer about a substrate surface by being formed on the array substrate. An insulating layer(4) is formed on a surface contacted to the liquid crystal layer of the array substrate and facing substrate.
