IMAGE DISPLAY DEVICE, DRIVING METHOD THEREFOR, IMAGE DISPLAY PROGRAM, AND GRADATION CONVERTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device capable of satisfying both of high resolution and high gradation and capable of reducing texture-like pattern noise.

SOLUTION: An image display device includes a display 110 for displaying an image by picture elements arrayed in a two-dimentional matrix and a gradation conversion unit 120 for performing gradation conversion by using a dispersion dither matrix. The gradation conversion unit 120 randomly shifts the dither matrix in horizontal and vertical directions in each region of the picture elements 112 corresponding to the dither matrix and applies it, and performs the gradation conversion of the image shown in the display 110.
