<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration control bridge pier structure capable of improving a restoration property, reducing earthquake responses, reducing residual deformations and improving workability or the like by basically evading formation of a plastic hinge at column upper and lower end parts and capable of efficiently absorbing energy by the entire frame by disposing a brace to the column upper and lower end parts as well, in a vibration control bridge pier of an RC rigid frame structure. <P>SOLUTION: Strength is increased by using a precast form of UFC (Ultra-strength Fiber-reinforced Concrete) or the like at the upper and lower end parts of a column 3 of an RC frame 5 to prevent the formation of plastic hinges H at the total of four parts at the column upper and lower end parts by an earthquake motion (level 2 earthquake motion) at or higher than an assumed level. A brace 6 having a damper function for connecting a pair of left and right columns 3 is disposed at the column upper and lower end parts as well, one end of the braces 6 at the upper and lower end parts of the column 3 is respectively joined to haunches respectively formed at the upper and lower ends of the column 3 or joined to a lower surface of a beam 4 and an upper surface of a footing 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
