<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combination having utility in treating insomnia patients, and brought in patients in a process of a nicotine substitution therapy or reducing at least one side effect selected from deterioration in the quality of sleep, cognitive impairment and memory disorder. <P>SOLUTION: A combination contains: (a) at least one first active ingredient selected from melatonin, other melatonergic agents, melatonin agonists, and melatonin antagonists; and (b) at least one second active ingredient selected from nicotine and nicotine receptor agonists; to use of a medicament containing component (a) with or without component (b), and as to a kit which contains components (a) and (b) in unit dosage form. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
