<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low noise pantograph having the damping function without arranging a damper, for protecting a framework from dust, by providing the reducing effect of aerodynamic noise, by preventing sticking of the dust to constituting respective parts, without changing a basic constitution of the pantograph. <P>SOLUTION: Both ends of the framework and a bellows type cover are fixed to follow the vertical movement of the framework and the bellows type cover of an elliptic shape (a streamline shape in the advancing direction) for covering the whole framework of the pantograph, and a cover or the like for protecting the framework from rainwater and the dust and sealing for reducing the aerodynamic noise generated from the framework, is arranged on upper-lower end surfaces of the bellows type cover, and a hole is arranged in a part in the bellows type cover, to provide the damping function to the vertical movement of a frame. Sticking of the dust to respective members for constituting the framework can be prevented, and the aerodynamic noise generated from the respective members is reduced. A difference in an aerodynamic characteristic by a difference in the advancing direction can be eliminated.
