<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice cooker capable of selectively cooking rice to hardness of a rice cooking mode selected by a user without increasing the number of times of water level adjusting. <P>SOLUTION: The rice cooker has a body 1, a pot-shape container 5 housed in the body 1, a lid body 10 covering the opening part of the pot-shape container 5, a heating coil 3 for heating the pot-shape 5, a controller 8 executing a rice cooking step including a preheating step and a temperature raising step by driving and controlling the heating coil 3, and a hardness switch 36 for selecting the hardness of cooked rice, the controller 8 executes the rice cooking step while making the heating temperature in the preheating step variable based on the hardness selected by the hardness switch 36. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
