PURPOSE: A broadband ultrasonic scanner for power equipment degradation diagnosis is provided to detect unusual signal of various electric power equipment by consecutively mixing narrow band ultrasonic sensors of various frequencies. CONSTITUTION: An ultrasonic sensor array(1) receives an ultrasonic wave generated from an ultrasonic generation source and outputs an electric signal. A signal amplifier(2) receives the electric signal from the ultrasonic sensor array and amplifies the electric signal. A communications module(4) transmits a digital value of ultrasonic signal level, a number of an ultrasonic sensor, and a central frequency value to an external device through a communication terminal(8). An analog signal output terminal(5) is installed between an input of an A/D converter(3) and an output of the signal amplifier. A microprocessor(6) comprehensively controls gains of the signal amplifier, a processing speed and level adjustment of the A/D converter, and communications control of the communications module. |
