<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve electrical performance of a polymer bushing for extra high voltage. <P>SOLUTION: A termination for extra high voltage includes a deflector cone 2 around a central conductor 1. The deflector cone is made of flexible material covered by a polymer insulator having a first internal insulating element 3, and contains a conducting deflector 5. The conductor 1 is connected to an output terminal 6. The maximum diameter D of the internal insulating element at right angles to the length L of the deflector cone included between the conducting deflector and the adjacent end of the output terminal is greater than or equal to double the maximum diameter d<SB POS="POST">1</SB>of the conducting deflector. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
