<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information input device that prevents a general user from carelessly changing settings of the device, and an image processing device. <P>SOLUTION: The information input device includes a display device which displays an information input window and a touch panel which is arranged over the display device, and specifies a position specified on the information input screen. When a predetermined key is pressed, the display device displays a first window 610 including a first area 612 in which predetermined information is displayed and a second area 242 including characters, symbols or patterns. When the touch panel specifies a position in the second area, the display device displays the second window, and the information in the first area and the information in the second area are information requesting no choice.
