<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cleaning device capable of effectively removing and inactivating bacteria, mold, allergens, and viruses or the like floating in the air of a room. <P>SOLUTION: The air cleaning device includes: a body 1 having a suction port and a discharge port; a blower 4 for forming an air flow taking in the air from the suction port 2 into the body 1 and discharging the air from the discharge port 3; an electrostatic atomizing device 7 provided on an air path of the air flow in the body 1 and releasing a minute electrified droplet; and an inactivating device 8 provided close to the suction port 2 on the air path in the body 1. The inactivating device is grounded, has a flat plate shape, and has a plurality of first electrodes arranged substantially parallel with each other and flat bar shaped second electrodes arranged therebetween and impressed with predetermined voltages against the first electrodes. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
