<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To retain continuity of alternating-current components between a reference pixel and a prediction pixel and perform intra prediction with less influence of noise components. <P>SOLUTION: An intra prediction device creates a processing block including a reference block and a prediction block at which an initial value of a prediction image is set, performs, one or more times, creation of an orthogonal transformation coefficient of the processing block, correction of the orthogonal transformation coefficient, inverse orthogonal transformation of the corrected orthogonal transformation coefficient and correction of the inverse orthogonal transformed image, and creates a prediction image from the inverse orthogonal transformed image. The intra prediction device includes a reference image analysis part 10 detecting an edge of an image of the reference block and a control part 19 controlling creation of the prediction image based on the detection result of the reference image analysis part 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
