<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image and speech processing device capable of suppressing unnecessary electric power consumption. <P>SOLUTION: An image and speech processing device has: first input means accepting encoded image data; second input means accepting encoded speech data; third input means accepting image processing information that defines image effect processing and speech processing information that defines speech effect processing; first processing means having an image processor that generates image data by decoding the encoded image data and performs the image effect processing to the generated image data, and a speech processor that generates speech data by decoding the encoded speech data and performs the speech effect processing to the generated speech data when accepting the encoded speech data; second processing means generating speech data by decoding the encoded speech data and performing the speech effect processing to the generated speech data when accepting the encoded speech data; monitoring means monitoring a processing amount of the image processor; and control means outputting the encoded speech data to either one of the sound processor and the second processing means based on the image processing information, the sound processing information, and the monitoring result. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
