<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shutter device dispensing with a conversion of a driving direction when disposing a driving source with making its output shaft parallel to a photographing optical axis, without enlarging the shutter device. <P>SOLUTION: A shutter bottom board 1 is formed with a first shaft 1b that is parallel to an optical axis 49 of a photographing luminous flux, a drive lever is rotationally turned about the first shaft 1b to drive a first blade 41 and a second blade 42. A mirror lever 36 is rotated about a second shaft 31a that is parallel to the first shaft 1b so as to drive a main mirror 6.
