<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a braking method and a braking device for a vehicle capable of improving a braking force without changing material subjected to friction and friction material in the braking of the vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: The braking method of the vehicle comprises a step of pressing a pressing plate which abuts on a braking body and a step of causing the braking body to contact with a body to be braked opposite to the braking body to brake the body to be braked, wherein the body to be braked and the pressing plate are formed from a conductive body electrically insulated mutually, the volume resistivity of the braking body is set larger than the volume resistivity of the body to be braked and the pressing plate and a voltage is applied between the body to be braked and the pressing plate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
