<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress torque variations caused by reduced rotational speed when fuel supply to an internal combustion engine is stopped, and to suppress insufficient supply of a working fluid in a vehicle control apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicle control apparatus includes: an engine 11; a torque converter 12 having a lock-up mechanism 19; and an oil pump 43 that is coupled with an automatic gear changer 14 to be driven and operated in synchronization with driving of the automatic gear changer 14. An ECU 31, when fuel supply to the engine 11 is stopped, releases the lock-up mechanism 19 when an output shaft rotational speed of the automatic gear changer 14 is lower than a predetermined one that is set in light of the torque variations of the engine 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
