<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery pack consisting of a stack of a plurality of battery modules each housing a stack of a plurality of secondary batteries in which each secondary battery configuring a battery module can be pressed appropriately, and when swelling occurs in a battery module, stress due to the swelling can be absorbed well. <P>SOLUTION: A battery pack 100 consists of a stack of a plurality of battery modules 10A, 10B each comprising a stack 20 of a plurality of secondary batteries, and a case for housing the stack. The housing cases configuring the battery modules 10A, 10B have protrusions 512, 522 formed along the outer periphery of the housing cases, and recesses 513, 523 located on the inner peripheral side of the protrusions 512, 522.
