<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the entry of condensed water to the inside of a driving device in a centrifugal separator with a cooling device, and to enhance the reliability of the driving device. <P>SOLUTION: The centrifugal separator includes a rotor, the driving device rotating the rotor, a bowl having a through hole for passing a driving shaft 5 of the driving device and storing the rotor, a shaft cover 13 fitted between the through hole of the bowl and the driving shaft, and the cooling device cooling the bowl. In the driving shaft 5 near an opening clearance for passing the through hole of the shaft cover 13, that is, in the vicinity of a channel in which the condensed water enters, a means (5c) for blowing off droplets approaching on the driving shaft 5 side on the shaft cover 13 by the rotation of the rotor is arranged so as to blow off the water by the rotative force of the driving shaft 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
