<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal apparatus capable of reducing an echo phenomenon in an arrangement state on a horizontal surface. <P>SOLUTION: A camera apparatus 1 includes a first housing 2 and a second housing 3, and is constituted to be foldable with a rotation axis as a center. The first housing 2 includes a microphone 20 and the second housing 3 includes a speaker 50. The camera apparatus 1 is self-supported by placement on a desk in a state where the first housing 2 and the second housing 3 are opened at a maximum angle. The microphone 20 has unidirectionality in the same direction of the output direction of the speaker 50. When the camera apparatus 1 is placed on the desk in the opening state, the microphone 20 and the speaker 50 are positioned by separation at a prescribed distance.
