<p>Disclosed are a method and a system for multiprotocol label switching (MPLS) layer-three (L3) virtual private network (VPN) fast reroute (FRR). The method comprises: when adding or updating a router, if FRR is configured at an L3 interface pointed thereto by the router, then adding a specific routing flag to the router; if a need for FRR is being detected, updating the information of the L3 interface and the information of a destination mac, configuring at the same time a specific routing flag matched using ALC, and redirecting to a new working port a packet matched to the specific routing flag. Employment of the present invention allows for the method for MPLS L3VPN FRR, thereby reducing greatly the time required for switching, and conserving a great amount of hardware resources.</p> |
