<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner recovery device that suppresses scattering of toner in recovering toner to a toner container, and suppresses erroneous detection of detection means. <P>SOLUTION: A toner recovery device 200 includes: a cleaning container 64; a conveyance screw 63 that conveys toner inside the cleaning container 64; a conveyance path 3 connected to the cleaning container 64; a conveyance screw 4 that conveys toner inside the conveyance path 3; a recovery container 81 connected to the second conveyance path 3; a fullness detection sensor 101 that detects the presence of toner inside the recovery container 81; a shutter mechanism 68k disposed at a joint between the cleaning container 64 and the conveyance path 3, and compresses toner to be conveyed by the conveyance screw 63; and a controller 70 that controls to convey the toner, which is conveyed to and compressed by the shutter mechanism 68k, to recover to the recovery container 81. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
