<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automotive folding seat so that at least a bottom part of a seat cushion lowers below a seat installation surface of a floor in a folding state of the seat. <P>SOLUTION: The automotive folding seat includes a seat support base 2 installed on the floor F, a cushion storage mechanism 5 which can move the seat cushion 4 to a storage position B from a use position A, a reclining mechanism 7 which can selectively hold a seat back 6 in a rising-up position C and a falling-down position D, and an interlocking mechanism 8 for connecting the reclining mechanism 7 and the cushion storage mechanism 5. A high surface Fa and a low surface Fb lower than that are formed on the floor F. The seat support base 2 is installed on the high surface Fa. The cushion storage mechanism 5 is constituted so that the seat cushion 4 can be moved to the storage position B in close vicinity to the low surface Fb from the use position A higher than the high surface Fa. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
