<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rechargeable display unit in which restrictions on designing its main unit can be reduced. <P>SOLUTION: A television set 1 is a rechargeable display unit comprising a main unit 2 and a charging stand 3. The main unit 2 comprises: a housing portion 4 incorporating a secondary battery 12 and provided with a power-receiving terminal 15 on its back; and a leg portion 5 to be attached to the charging stand 3. The leg portion 5 is arranged on the back side of the housing portion 4 so that the leg portion 5 is rotatable around a rotation axis X. The power-receiving terminal 15 is provided on the rotation axis X, while the charging stand 3 has a power-feeding terminal 32. A pair of first hooks 22 are provided at a base shaft portion 18 on the base end side of the leg portion 5, and a second hook 24 is provided on the tip side of the leg portion 5. A first receiving portions 29 for receiving the first hooks 22 from upward and a second receiving portion 34 for receiving the second hook 24 from upward are provided on a front wall 27A, which is the front face of the charging stand 3.
