<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-functional image forming apparatus and an image forming system which can set rights to use of respective users in such a way that the rights are different from one another, and able to prevent data leakage. <P>SOLUTION: The multi-functional image forming apparatus having a plurality of functions related to image formation includes: an authenticating section having at least two different authenticating systems and can authenticate a user by adopting one of the authenticating systems; a limiting information storage section storing pieces of limiting information set differently from one another according to the respective authenticating systems and indicating that the user can use some of the plurality of functions; a determination managing section which refers to the limiting information storage section when the user is authenticated by one of the authenticating systems, and determines some of the functions that the user can use on the basis of the limiting information corresponding to the authenticating system; a display selecting section which displays options corresponding to some of the functions and makes the user select the function so that the user can use the determined function; and a performing section which performs the selected function. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
